Meet The Staff

Meet Dr. Schumer’s Staff

When you enter the office you will see Berni sitting at the front desk. She has worked for Dr. Schumer since 2002 as a dental assistant and now the receptionist.

Three days a week you will also see Sherie at the front desk. Sherie joined Dr. Schumer in early 2013 when Dr. Alan Shapiro retired and the majority of his patients transferred to seeing Dr. Schumer as their dentist. Sherie had worked with Dr. Shapiro for many years in the same office building as Dr. Schumer’s previous office.

Alexa and Jackie are dental assistants. They will bring you in and seat you in the dental chair. They also makes sure that everything is clean and sterilized and will assist the doctors during any treatments.
Amanda is the hygienist and will most likely be cleaning your teeth. Amanda joined the team when Dr. Shapiro’s patients began seeing Dr. Schumer. She is in the office full time.
